One of the best, if not the best Hefe beer, although there are many other beautiful german wheat beers with similar qualities. Germans really know how to make great Hefe and today, I don't buy anything but german Hefe beers.
Colour is hazy golden yellow, similar to the other light wheat beers. Smell is the most unexceptional quality of this beer. It's nicely fruity and honey-ish, but pretty light. Medium to trong foam after pouring. Opening the bottle rises foam on the bottle nozzle.
Look and smell is nothing compared to the taste of this drink of gods. It is simply stunning. Taste is very fruity, with honey and herb flavor. Images of Bavarian spring meadow flashes in your mind after filling your mouth with this terrific beer.
Highly recommended, if you like sweet wheat beers. Hefes are not for everybody and I think many lager and ale fans don't like the sweet taste, but if you are into these, then I welcome you to real beer heaven!
