Had this one on tap at HopCat in Grand Rapids,MI. (plug)
A: Nice and cloudy golden color as a Hefe should be. Good head retention with just enough lacing to let you know it's there.
S: Ripe bananas, hints of citrus, bready notes, and just a hint of lactic tartness.
T: Banana, banana, banana. Hints of warm bread, very faint clove spiciness, nice lemony tartness, bubblegum-like sweetness without being overly dominant. Oh yeah, did I mention bananas?
M: Not overly carbonated, extremely thirst quenching, creamy medium-light body, no perceivable alcohol heat, and a nice crisp finish.
D: About as close to perfection as it gets in the drinkability department. Amazingly well balanced and perfect for a warm, sunny day.
Serving type: on-tap
