This beer poured a deep golden color with a gorgeous thick head that dissipated quickly but left some lacing on the sides of the glass. It has a pronounced spicy flavor with hints of grapes and cinnamon. Clove and ginger are also noticeable. Compared to other Hefeweizens it is a little heavier with a thick mouthfeel and a sharper hop flavor. Fantastic layered taste with a spicy kick that stands out above the fruit notes. Interesting, delicious example of a well made Hefeweizen.
