Many years ago, I visited this "oldest brewery in the world" in Freising, Bavaria. The hefeweizen was definitely my favorite of their brews; indeed one of my favorite brews. More recently, I had this beverage on tap served in a traditional weissbier glass.
Appearance was just about perfect. Golden-cloudy with a magnificent crown. It looked like one of those mock-ups you might see in an advertisement.
Aroma was excellent, cloves and yeast with a hint of vanilla.
Flavor was also excellent. Vanilla and yeast, without the annoying sweetness of many beers of this variety.
Mouthfeel was full-bodied and smooth. No complaints here.
Drinkability was oustanding. A full-flavored beer that is also thirst-quenching. Be careful not to drink it too quickly! ;)
Serving type: on-tap

Poured into an IPA glass, or cervoise glass?
Look: Cloudy rusted wheat body. Pure white head with great retention and spots of lacing.
Aroma: A lot of wheat, malts, banana, and even faint strawberry or other tart fruits.
Taste: Very grainy and malty up front. The banana is subdued and there is a pleasant spiciness I find in the taste.
Mouthfeel: A bit bright, carbonated.
Overall: Just absolutely solid.
Serving type: bottle
