This beer pours a nice cloudy orange color with a thick fluffy white head, much like most german hefe's.
The smell of the beer is great, the wheat comes right out, and is backed up with a malty smell, and some yeast.
The taste is exceptional. Very strong wheat and yeast flavors, with a slight hop bitterness, and spiceyness. The malt flavor is very well balanced. The beer is backed by a slight lemony and grassy tone, but the big thing here is the wheat and yeast.
The mouthfeel is nice, crisp, clean, smooth, nothing short of great.
Overall I would rank this as one of my favorite of the style, if not my most favorite. This is one beer I could drink all day.
