Cloudy orange and yellow brew with thick white head.. retention is strong, lacing is sturdy like jello...

wheat, sweet malts, orange peel, lemon, banana, pear in the nose

taste like the perfect hefeweizen... full bodied, everything you smell you taste, perfect mouthfeel, carbonation is there but not distracting...

i want some german food, sausage, mashed potatoes, white asparagus... it's so damn good, perfect for the style...

look: 3.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5

Served at a warm temperature with a nice foamy, light tan head and a little lace. Color is a cloudy brown amber. Aroma is heavy malt, raisins, figs, dates, hint of molasses. Flavor is like nose, malt sweetness is on top, followed with the dark ripe fruit and carbonics. Body is perfect, ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor, fairly long and balanced.

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4

Poured from a bottle into a Pilsener glass.

Look - light amber color, clear, with good carbonation and about three fingers' worth of off-tan colored foam that dissipates fairly slowly.

Smell - very sweet and malty, with not much of a hop presence, but very much of a wheat-like presence.

Taste - right away the wheat makes itself known. It very much does indeed remind me of Bavarian beers in general. The banana flavor is pretty prominent. Quite well on the sweet side, with no bitterness.

Mouthfeel - pretty well balanced, but leans a little more on the watery side.

Overall - Not a bad tasting brew at all, and it's a good representative of the style.
