Appearance: Dark golden brown, slight reddish hues, cloudy as all good wheat beer are. Good head about three fingers worth when first poured. A small head stays throughout drinking.
Aroma: Beautiful malty smell, a sweet apple/bread aroma that finishes off with a spicy-ness.
Taste: Medium body, very flavorful. You first pick up a clove and nice twang taste from this beer. There is a bit of bitterness to it but it is balanced out with the flavor of banana and caramel.
Mouth feel: Very smooth and creamy, perfect amount of carbonation. Very crisp and clean tasting.
Drinkability: Great beer, I defiantly find myself drinking this again.
If you like Dark hefeweissbeirs this is an excellent choice. I will never turn one of these down

Look: Pours with large, very thick, billowy, off-white (yellow hue) head. It has a beautiful, slow retention that leaves medium sized, creamy, thick layer on the top. It stays till the end and leaves fair amount of lacing. Colour is cloudy, creamy toffee, caramel, like milk chocolate sundae shake - delicious. Also lots of active carbonation, lots of bubbly chains.
Smell: Clove and banana classic. Bit peppery, fresh sweet peeled apples, red earth. Grain, wheat, hay with light darker malt sweetness, hints of caramel and milk chocolate most obvious.
Taste: Clove and banana with some spice lead the way; also yeasty character gets some ground. Dry apples, light sour. Medium sweet middle, mostly grain/wheat - light caramel sweetness doesn't come out until in the aftertaste. Good balance of clove, banana and pepper play in the after - wouldn't expect anything different from Weinhenstephan. Some light noble hops at the end too.
Mouthfeel: Light crisp start, this lively carbonation suits it well. Smooth and creamy medium light heavy body.
Overall: Not that different from the classical hefeweissbier, superb yet relatively simple play of the classical banana clove formation, that looks and feel good. Expected a bit more contribution from the darker malts tho.
