A - This may be the lightest Dunkel I have ever had. A shade darker than the Hefeweizen, hazy with a solid inch of sticky white head.
S - Like the Hefe its filled with banana like yeasts, coriander, and a touch of plums/dark fruit.
T - Taste is a bit sweeter than the Hefeweizen and the yeast is not as cloying which is nice. The fruity aspect blends well with the bready flavors of the malt perfectly. Wheat and orange peel is balanced.
M - Light to medium in body, very refreshing stuff.

Overall this is a great Dunkel my only gripe is not much dark fruit or dark color but I can let that slide since this beer is pure delicious.

Pours a murky, burnt honey color with a cap of thick, craggy, beige foam. Aroma is fairly mild, smelling of caramel, banana, cloves, and yeast. The flavor perfectly matches the aroma, so I won't reiterate it here. I will say that the mouthfeel is divine, as the effervescent carbonation complements the flavor and body perfectly. This is very similar to their hefeweizen, just with more of a caramel flavor, which I actually find to be a little too sweet for my tastes. With that said, it's right for the style, and there's no denying the execution. This is one flavorful and refreshing beer.

The beer has a big head made of very little bubbles. The color is a cloudy light brown. You can barely see anythign through it.

The aroma has sweet sweet bananas, malty breadiness, yeast, bubble gum, and clove spice.

The flavor reminds me a lot of the hefeweizen and the weizenbock. It’s a maltier, bigger hefeweizen, but still refreshing. There’s a wheat, bready malt, yeast, then orange and over ripe banana. There’s a good bubbly body. There’s a slightly dry finish.

A wonderful version of the Hefeweizen that Weihenstephaner makes. Extremely drinkable and smooth. Great flavors. I prefer bigger malts, like the Weizenbock. Quite good however.

A: hazy warm wood brown beer in the always stunning weizen glass - fat cap of white foam left some lace arms down the glass

S: warm, sweet wheat malt and fruitier high notes

T: you are drinking dark semi-sweet wheat, hints of the banana/clove-ish-ness and traces of warm chestnut. Words can't do justice - one of the best wheat malt flavors you're going to find

M: soft, smooth, creamy, fuzzy

O: it's a world-class beer. Regardless of personal preferences, all BAs should find their way here at some point. It is an exemplary beer.
