This store has a very good selection. The beer section is much larger than most liquor stores I have been to. I've brought friends there, and they have always been impressed with the selection of both warm and cold beers. They have an impressive offering of Belgians (though they no longer carry Westmalle), imports (including beers from countries such as Slovakia that I have not seen in other area stores), domestics and local micro-brews. The staff, while friendly if you approach them, is not particularly helpful. I've had various experiences with them as far as service, but usually it has been in the range of trying to be helpful, but not necessarily knowledgeable unless the person who orders the beer is there. The prices are comparable to slightly cheaper than most other places. This is well-worth a visit if you are anywhere in the area.

Decent spot to find very average brews and IMO not the type of place you're going to be trekking to for rares or scores.
However, in this area this is your best bet to score some solid crafts. This area isnt really the type of place you're going to be visiting often, but for the people who live or work in the area its a solid spot to grab some good crafts.
Decent rotation of older beers, not many ppl know about this place so may be a good place to grab a 2010 version of your favorite beer.
Decent Belgians and very good spread of NJ, and East Coast Brewers.
Got some nice vintages of Allagashs Confluence, Oddesey last time out there. Very solid spot.

not a bad find if i do say so myself. this place is pretty accessable from most major highways and the parking's pretty ample as well. inside is a pretty vast selection of good beer, most noteably the belgians. quite a good microbrew selection as well. the floor help is quite friendly and helpful, and the prices are average. this is one of my more frequent stops for beer as of late. plus they got a killer (but a lil pricey) deli counter. overall i'm a fan. where else can u score a fantome and an italian sub in the same joint? not many places i'd assume... not in jersey anyways.

Only 1 other review of this place? 5 minutes off the NJ Pkwy in Rahway, Witty's has got to have one of the best selections in the state. Beers are stored along the left side of the store, both cold and room temp. Virtually every domestic craft brewery available in NJ, is represented here. Some harder to find styles too, like Allagash Odyssey and 10th Ann., and Smuttynose Wheat Wine. Imports, they have alot of Belgian stuff I don't see too many places in NJ: Brasserie des Rocs Triple and Brune, the whole St. Bernardus lineup, Fantome Noel, the Rodenbachs, Westmalle, etc.
Overall they have a very good selection, but no 'vintage' beer like Somerville Supersaver, and the 12oz bottles are not available in singles.
Products seem fresh, they move the seasonals out in time, and prices are fair. Definitely a place to seek out, if you're anywhere near the area.

Nice selection. One of the better selections in the area. The usual suspects plus a lot of micros, Belgians, Germans, etc. A variety of sampler packs from various points on the globe. Plenty of local and regional products. Friendly courteous staff and super clean premises.
