On tap at Mohawk Bend in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a murky brown with a foamy khaki head that fades to nothing. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and citrus zest. Taste is much the same with a citrus zest flavor on the finish. There is a medium amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a much better smell over the taste.
