Three percent alcohol? At that point of day, yes please. A 355 ml bottle shared with srbcurti, on to the beer:
It has a light hazy orange color, with little spots of head and lace. It really isn't much of a looker in the glass. The nose has some firepower though. Subtle biscuit malt and touches of orange make a soft yet succulent nose.
Apple is the first note to be tasted. Unsweetened malt that was extracted of its sugar in the mash (or if you prefer, grape nuts) makes the majority component of the taste. Quite light as expected, and also quite neutral. The body is very light, and there's a refreshing crispness keeping this beer from being identical to water.
A very refreshing light ale out of Sauber, although there isn't much to taste here. All three of Sauber's beers I've tasted have been something either new or rare in the Brazilian market, and this 3% ABV light ale is just one example.
