No bottle date but just released last week.
A: Well, certainly a unique look. It pours just like a witbier. Kind of a light orange. Very hazy. Not hazy, straight up cloudy in fact. Don't get any light through it all. Head and mid-sized, fluffy and tan. It fades very quickly though...very quickly and very oddly. It's hard to describe, it basically turns into what looks like soap bubbles. It's a head made up of very large and clear bubbles briefly and then it's all gone. Zero lacing. Possibly the strangest appearance I've seen.
S: Well, the smell is really nice. Citrus is off the scale. Ripe, juicy oranges, grapefruit and tangerines. Tropical fruits in general like pineapple. It smells like a glass of tropical fruits, you would never guess it's a beer aroma if you were blindfolded. Even get some orange peel. When swirled I get just a hint of some wheaty malt.
T: Big hop burst up front. Tropical fruits again with lots of grapefruit. Again with the orange, tangerine and pineapple. Spicy pine in there too, surprisingly strong into the middle. Has sort of a saison-ish malt. Very grainy and wheaty, mainly in the middle and finish. Big wave of bitterness in the finish, leading to a strong, drying, bitter pine and grapefruit aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied and full. Lower carbonation.
O: A very interesting, unique and tasty DIPA. It's sorta a hybrid, it's like a mega dry hopped saison in some ways. A mega dry hopped saison that looks like a witbier. Hey, whatever works. It's a west coast hop bomb with a wheaty backing. I enjoyed it quite a bit. One small note, once I poured the entire bottle into the glass I got a lot of sediment. This must include actual hop particles because BOY did it amp up the hop flavors and bitterness. It literally made me start coughing. Beware if you aren't an extreme hop head, this baby's got some serious hop strength in it now. I kinda don't mind it because I sometimes enjoy over-the-top beers. Very crazy, these guys.

A: Looks just like orange juice minus the pulp. Head is modest. Lace is sparse and spotty. He orange juice look makes me think refreshing and delicious....
S: Aroma is a dank party of stinky tropical funk. Sweet bready malts blanketed by a hoppy forest. Light crisp pine over deep dark pungent goodness. It's so aromatics it cleans out the nostrils. It's like a whiff of fresh hop pellets.
T: Super brisk, almost peppery, pine to the head. Mouthwatering juicy fruit.
M: Each sip leaves the mouth feeling encrusted with hop resins. Carbonation is pointy initially and gradually smooths out. Very juicy and very dry.

Bottle purchased at Acme Bar and Pizza in Rochester, NY. This bottle retails for 16.99 at local stores around here- how is it $10 at Acme?
Pours an opaque hazy orange. Lots of residue in this one. 1 inch head, really good lacing down the glass.
Smells incredible. Stuck my nose in the bottle first, then the glass- pungent aromas of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, lemon.
Similar flavor. Unbelievably juicy. All of the fruits mentioned above, with some nice herbal piney qualities that leave a nice, but not lingering, bitterness on the palate at the end of each sip. When I smelled and tasted this one, it honestly reminded me of Heady Topper- this is the first time that's happened since I had HT.
Medium bodied, crisp, low-to medium carbonation. Very drinkable, the 22 oz went down too easy.
Amazing find here, this was one of the best IPAs I've ever had.

Pours a murky peach colored body, much like grapefruit juice, with a decent head that doesn't last too long. Aroma isn't quite to the level I remember it being on tap, but is still a thick, pungent, fruity melange of hoppy goodness. Grapefruit, peach, lemon, apricot, and flowers with a fair amount of dough to smooth it all out. More deliciously juicy fruit in the flavor...tons of grapefruit pulp, ripe tropical fruit sweetness, and some added piney, grassy greenness. Fresh and zesty. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a suitable resinous bitterness. Just a little bit different than others in this category. Very juicy with lots of fruity sweetness, but at the same time quite soft and dry. Very nice.
