This beer I believe is only available in NYC. An interesting and different take on an American style double IPA.

The look is not great, it's a super pale almost unfiltered apple juice sort of look, no real head or lacing, looks really thin and honestly I would never call it as a double ipa if I didn't know it was.

The smell is good, it has a super raw hop and apricot nose. Fresh grass, some honey, not a lot of malt but pretty good. Clean nice hop aroma. The taste is raw hops almost exclusively. No real malt which and even though I'm a hop head, this really detracts from the overall flavor of the brew to me. Has that little bit of home brew taste to what must be the malt, decent earthy slightly bitter finish. Straw.

Feel is a touch thin, very dry finish, super dry for a DIPA.

Overall not too bad but not great, certainly a unique beer in the style.

Teku glass. Bottle. Cloudy golden with two/three finger white head. Good lacing. Aroma is excellent - lots of citurs (lemon, orange and definetely grapefruit). The taste is not as intense as flavour, fruity palate with citrus (mainly grapefruit), peach, grapes. Also some bread, cake notes along with straw flavoursMedium bitterness balanced by malts (sweetness). Medium body, thick, dry, medium carbonation. Finish is bitter and long. Definetely one of the best DIPA I've ever tried. Very aromatic, drinkable and thick. But too pricey.

A: Looks just like orange juice minus the pulp. Head is modest. Lace is sparse and spotty. He orange juice look makes me think refreshing and delicious....

S: Aroma is a dank party of stinky tropical funk. Sweet bready malts blanketed by a hoppy forest. Light crisp pine over deep dark pungent goodness. It's so aromatics it cleans out the nostrils. It's like a whiff of fresh hop pellets.

T: Super brisk, almost peppery, pine to the head. Mouthwatering juicy fruit.

M: Each sip leaves the mouth feeling encrusted with hop resins. Carbonation is pointy initially and gradually smooths out. Very juicy and very dry.

O: Excellent!
