Tart, refreshing, subtly creamy. Low abv makes it an easy crusher.

Had this one at our Firestone Walker Fest Pre Party 2017.

Pours a reddish color. Good clarity to it, dunno how anyone would say this bottle is cloudy. Pinkish head, 1/4". Aroma was blueberries, but also a milkshake like sugary aspect to it, vanilla and lactose all day.

Taste was largely a sweetened experience. Which is kind of a bummer. You know how we don't like sweetened lambics? Well, same premise but with a wild ale here. You're covering up the good stuff! Too much vanilla and sugar and not enough blueberry, wood, tartness. I did appreciate Ominpollo could turn out a low abv beer though, but for that reason as well, there is too much vanilla and lactose. If I was trying to get a person who didn't like beer to drink one, this might be that beer. The tart/sourness is dialed down to around a 3 on the 10 pt wild scale, and might even drink lower than that because of the other adjuncts going on.

Definitely one of my least favorite Omnipollos and of that weekend.

22oz bottle. No bottling date information found.
Reddish pink colored, cloudy body. Early one finger fizzy white head, which quickly dissipates to island and bubble fed ring. There are a few spots of lacing left behind.
Aroma of blueberry and sweet lactose, with a touch of sweet vanilla.
Taste of blueberry and close to a strawberry flavor, along with the sweetness of lactose and vanilla. Has a tart edge, and rather dry at the end.
Lighter mouth feel. Carbonation is there but slightly lacking.
This beer is definitely a one-and-doner, but is okay for a lighter fruity wild ale. Nothing is memorable or enticing for another sip, and the lactose and vanilla seem a little out of place for best blend and balance. If anything, the vanilla and lactose present as somewhat artificial as compared to the fresher fruit.

Lol. Wait, is it good to start a review with “Lol”? Anyway, like your 2nd girlfriend that you knew was too good for you, I’m just being real. And what we have here is something that my lil soldier would love to chug out of his sippy cup. For real, we have liquid gummy bears here. And you know what? Raul ain’t tripping! A very light, low carbonated fruity delight.

Yep!

There are some unusual aromatic notes - and that's putting it nicely. Yeah, there are touches of blueberry, but also unpleasant notes of cleaner, mint, sawdust, and stomach bile. Lactose sugar adds yet another strange yet unwelcome presence, and the vanilla seems artificial. Yikes! The flavor profile works better, at least. Blueberry lingers from start to finish, and the nastier acidic notes don't really translate from nose to palate. However, the lactose sugar and vanilla both seem odd and artificial, and ruin the balance of this beer (doubly sad considering the fruit seems very natural). The feel is chalky and thick, which makes it seem more substantial than the alcohol suggests. Carbonation is vibrant, which helps. This doesn't work - none of the ingredients come together in any sort of cohesive fashion, and the aroma flat-out sucks. Next!

Pours a deep pinkish color with some purple hues. Head dies pretty quickly on it.

Aroma is acetic and slightly fruity, pretty much proclaiming sourness to follow.

The taste has a good sour upfront, medium acid level, and a hint of blueberry as well. The sourness has some balsamic qualities but the fruit flavor masks the more acetic touches.

Body is light with a low/medium carbonation, could stand to have some more.

Overall, this is a nice American Wild Ale from Omnipollo. It has a good level of sourness and a decent blend of fruit. Enjoyable.

On tap at Vermont Tap House. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a dark pink color with a thin to one finger white bar pour’s kind of slim white foamy head. Light rimmed to ringy lacing appears after the head dissipated. The smell starts off with some cherry juice entering into some sprucy pine needles. Light sweet apples and some vanilla warm together into the blend. Sour to tart is tame and mainly blends in a semi-sweet fashion. The taste was mainly the same with a quick dry sprucy finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a dry touch to my tongue. Good session to sipper. Overall, different for a sour/wild ale, but to me, I liked it and would come back to it.

Clear red-purple with a large, loud fizz that dies to nothing.

Blech! This smells like gasoline...I'm assuming this is coming from the hops, as it is almost like it was a bad IPA they threw some other ingredients in to salvage. I'm getting skunk with only the faintest hints of blueberry.

Taste improves, but not dramatically, coming off as blueberry soda with that weird skunk flavor lurking in the background, since you can't get away from it on the nose. It's a little like Kool-Aid, not really sour, with no real vanilla or lactose to speak of.

Fizzy, actually too carbonated, but thin, with a semi-wet finish that doesn't work.

Poured from 11.2-ounce bottle into an oversized wine glass. Nice burst of hoppy aroma upon opening the bottle. Hazy, pale plum-colored pour, with a thin white head that fades rather quickly. Fruit forward on the nose and palate, with lots of blueberry and vanilla as expected. Very sour, surprisingly light on yeast funk. Medium bodied, with some pleasant bitterness to balance out the tartness. Dry finish, with a little lingering sour fruit on the palate. Maybe it's because I've recently become a big fan of kombucha, but I think this is a delicious brew. Well done!
