A solid white head rests for awhile on a mildly hazed deep medium-to-dark yellow brew. Retention is good overall, and the cap that remains drops sticky lacing in patches that distributes itself pretty densely overall.
The aroma bursts out of the bottle; this one isn't kidding. A huge hops boquet never quits, pumping out all kinds of floral, citrus, and tropical fruits with a touch of zest along with a touch of honey-like sweetness, spiciness, and a touch of boozy with not ethanolic alcohol notes.
While not as balanced in the flavor, this is a tasty beer and one for hopheads to seek, though the $6 price tag for a bottle closer to 11 than 12 ounces may hold some back. The fruits are ripe in here, giving a bit more rind and pith than in the smell. Caramel malts are just enough to keep the bitterness from going over the edge. A spicy bite continues through and combines with an earthy note into the finish.
A dryer beer, this one's got a body that's medium but leans light. It's as crisp as might be expected, but manages a nice smoothness considering.

330 ml bottle served fairly cold into glassware. Purchased from LCBO for $4.25 CDN. I'm very excited to see this in stores.

Appearance - light and vibrant orange color with some honey hues. Thick two finger white head that has great retention. Pretty hazy with some lively bubbles. Clumpy lacing remains behind.

Smell - very fruity with huge burst of pineapple and some mango. Some very light piney aromatics as well melding nicely before succumbing to the fruit explosion.

Taste - the fruit explosion continues with pineapple and mango and a surprising burst of lychee fruit. Moderately bitter with a bit of heat on the tip of my tongue at the close. The lychee and mango are not especially to my liking usually but it works well in this concoction.

Mouthfeel - creamy, good feel with a dry finish. Heavy carbonation which works well with a bigger beer.

Overall - a wonderful double IPA with plenty of fruit flavours especially a distinctive lychee and pineapple combination. Also plenty of bitterness and hop presence for hop head lovers. Highly recommended for all beer lovers.

A very, very hoppy IPA from Belgium (It's not actually Swedish - read the fine print on the label).

Orangey pour with medium head that flattens out fairly quickly. Great hoppiness.

If you like very hoppy IPA's, as I do, you'll like this one. Maybe the best IPA I've tried.

Best before 05-02-16, so i'd say it's fairly fresh. Sure smells like it, right after popping the cap.
Pours hazy orange, building up a rich two finger and a half fluffy white head that doesn't rush anywhere. Later on a thin cap remains and a very sticky lace.
There's a perfect marriage of citrus and pine in the smell, all atop quite a lot of caramel, with some sweet tropical fruit (papaya, pineapple, faint lychee and mango) and orchard fruit (apricot, peach, pear). This should be great.
Huge pineapple in the front, probably the clearest i've found in a beer, followed by tons of bitter citrus, like grapefruit and lemon peel, getting sweeter in a flash second, with tangerines, pomelo, limes, also some peach and perfumey mango. Nice caramel helps the sweetness, also some honey with quite a lot of floral notes. Big green notes, like pine resin, weed, hop oils, a huge fresh leafiness follows, and sweeps away any sweetness, giving room to a huge, dry, spicy bitterness.
Medium body and carbonation, creamy, almost oily. Fitting for such a rich heavy IIPA. Aftertaste is a hop nuke fallout, leaving nice fruitiness and big bitter green notes. You don't have time to feel any alcohol.
A rollercoaster, with a big surprising complexity, but in the end perfectly balanced, great flavours, incredible hops.
