a - poured a three-fingers thick, rocky and dense tan head into a tulip glass that left good lacing and sheeting throughout. the body was a muddy red-brown color.
s - floral hops with some biscuit and caramel malt balance.
t - same as the aroma.
m - creamy mouthfeel.
o - has potential but i think this could be an older bottle.

Pours dark amber with a large head.
Nose shows nutty, toasty and bready malt along with brown sugar and spicy, biscuity rye. Nice stuff.
Toasty flavours with more rye. Almost roasty. Some spicy hops. Not all that interesting.
Way too much carbonation.

A: The beer is reddish amber in color and has a light haze along with a slight amount of visible carbonation. A careful pour resulted in a three finger high light beige colored head that took a long time to die down and left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: There are light aromas of caramel malts along with herbal hops in the nose.
T: The overall taste is dominated by flavors of herbal hops while spicy flavors of rye from the hops are especially prominent towards the finish. As the beer warms up, hints of brown sugar and sweetness become detectable.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate to high amount of carbonation. The rye lends a little dryness towards the finish.
O: The rye added an interesting twist to this beer, but the excessive carbonation required some patience in letting the head slowly died down. The taste gained complexity as the beer warmed up.

Poured from a 33cL bottle into a brandy snifter.

A: Two fingers of head fill the glass. The color is a gorgeous red-amber, fairly clear with generous carbonation.

S: Weirdly fruity. Also something like dirty dishwater, but not quite as bad. A touch like some cask ales...?

T/M: Highly carbonated indeed, with piercing citrus that overshadow the coffee-bitterness. Very interesting. I like it! The endtaste is fruity again, and hoppy, with a titillating lightness. Creamy and pleasant.

O: A strange but rewarding beer. I don't know if I would ever have another, but I can recommend this one.

A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a rust color and a cloudy texture. There was a huge, creamy, fairly long-lasting head. Very good lacing.

S: A decent, but not overpowering, aroma of hops, malt, and caramel.

T: Tasted of a good amount hops, some light malt, a little bit of caramel, and a slightly fruity element as well. A pretty good, but not great flavor. Could have been slightly more aggressive that it was.

M: A well-carbonated beer with a prickly finish. Light- to medium-bodied.

O: This is an uneven beer, but is still drinkable. A solid beer.

Poured into a Black Raven pint glass. Pours a ruby red amber, with a massive off-white head filling most of the glass with a moderate pour. Gradually dissipated, leaving chunky lacing. Aroma is complicated, caramel and bready malt, unidentifiable light fruit, faint grassy hops. Flavor is also complex; bready and light toasted malt, odd light fruit flavor, rye, grassy and hints of citrus hops. Medium bodied. An interesting red ale with lots of off-beat flavors that still worked together and stayed withing style for a red ale. The color was fantastic for a red. Hoping for a bit more hoppiness, but enjoyed still enjoyed it. I would get this again if I saw it, but this was the only bottle I saw in the Northwest this time around.

Poured aggressively from bottle into a raised snifter. Dark amber in color with a slight crimson tint. Slightly cloudy. Frothy head, not a lot of effervescence.
A nicely layered red--a tip of the hat to the ten different grains used by Omni/Nomada. Taste moves from rye bread to dark caramel to an only slightly bitter finish. Very, very balanced.
Lacing clings to glass throughout drinking. Delicious.
