Incredibly bold, thick, meaty (bacon) and very complex example of the style.. Very sweet, fruity, and roasty, and a tad smoky with a super concentrated flavor that reminds me of an even more forward Even More Jesus meets a bacon/maple doughnut. A real sipper on a cold day, this one will really warm you up, and leave your palate ultra satisfied.

You know that feeling you get when you just buy a beer off the shelf thinking it won't blow you away and then it hits your lips and you can't even comprehend what you're tasting. Yeah, this is a hidden gem.

A - Pitch black and thick like motor oil with one of the darkest heads I've seen since CCB Marshall Zhukov

S- There's a lot going on here. Super dark chocolate, coffee, a really sweet smell that I attribute to the maple syrup, roasted malts. Just everything you love about imperial stouts amped up to 11.

T - Really sweet, malty, chocolate, coffee and believe it or not a hop bite to it on the finish

M - A thick, fluffy feel that coats your entire mouth

O - What a hidden gem! If you're lucky enough to get distribution then grab a couple of bottles. If they ever barrel-aged this then I would probably blow my load. Seven thumbs up!

A - Black as night. Thick as oil. No head.

S - Upon opening I got a very pronounced aroma of the maple syrup. A bit of coffee and some chocolate in there too.

T - Chocolate, coffee and some maple syrup. A little bit of a boozy note also. Obviously nothing that a little aging can't handle.

M - Definitely a full mouth feel. Thick with little to no carbonation.

O - I would try it again if the opportunity presented itself.
