Visited 3/3/2011 during RBWG 2011.
We pulled up around noon on a Thursday so not surprisingly there weren't a ton of customers around. On the way in I saw a covered patio with some heaters and plenty of tables both under the awning and outside. Inside the place is pretty big. There is a long bar with at least a dozen taps (including some guest beers), a lot of liquor bottles, and a large selection of guest beer bottles. Our group of 10 (or so) were seated in a seperate room in the back.
The server was very nice and while it was obvious that she wasn't a huge beer nerd she knew the basics about all the house beers. We later discovered that she had a twin sister that also worked there (that looked exactly the same) so who knows who was serving us or how many people were serving us.
I ordered a beer sampler and got to try 8 beers covering a decent spread of styles.
Dirty Guera Blonde
Monkeyshine (strong ale/brown ale)
I ordered a burger with some bacon and some kind of peppers on it and it was quite good. Someone at the table got a bologna sandwich that was pretty neat (3/4" thick slab of meat on it) but I didnt try it. The tumbleweed fried onions were awesome.
It might be because there werent a lot of people in the restaurant while we were there or because someone arranged the event ahead of time but they were really nice to us and I had a great time. Oh, and the tshirts are cool but I didnt want to spend the money on them.
