Vibe: This bar is located one block off Hoboken's main drag, so it's less crowded compared to some of the bars along Washington Street and is more frequented by locals. The place has two dart boards and is a dog-friendly bar—cheese puffs are offered to dogs that come in. It also has a Deer Hunter video game. Some high tables are provided opposite the bar.

Quality: Beers were served at the proper temperature using a variety of glassware, including tulip glasses for specialty beers.

Service: No waitress service is available, but service at the bar is relatively quick.

Selection: I found this bar to have a nice selection of beers, including two offerings from Great Lakes—Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and Dortmunder Gold. If you can't find anything you like on tap, they also have an extensive bottle list.

Value: Prices seemed rather reasonable compared to other bars in Hoboken.

I use to go here often when I went to college in Hoboken and my girlfriend lived in town. This is probably one of my favorite bars in the area. They have a great rotating tap and bottle list. At the time there was a little over 20 taps and 100+ bottles. There's always some sort of brewery event going on throughout the week with giveaways and prizes. Some of the brewery events included Brooklyn, Dogfish Head, Lagunitas, Old Dominion and Yards. There's a few TVs to watch some of the games and people are always playing darts. It can really get packed at night but there's less of a crowd during the late afternoon/early evening.

The owner, Dan, is very friendly and a nice guy. He's really into craft beer like the rest of us.

I basically sought this place out because they carry Great Lakes Brews which I had never had. Luckily for me, when I was in Hoboken I went out of my way to try this place and they had Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Porter on tap there. They also had a few Ithaca beers on tap, so I had a Caskazilla as well. The bartenders were attentive even though the place was packed and I didn't have to wait long for a refill. Overall this was a solid place and I'll stop in again the next time I'm in Hoboken.

So I found this place kind of my accident after re-locating to Hoboken and have been quite pleased with it. While Cork City does not serve food, it is conveniently located right across the street from a pretty good Thai restaurant and they allow you to bring your own food in.

The beer selection is pretty good both on draft and in bottles. In fact, this is the only place I have found in Northern Jersey so far that carries both Yards and Great Lakes.

The vibe is pretty casual - there are TVs for watching the games as well as darts. Also, this bar is dog friendly so if you ever need to stop a grab a beer while out walking the dog just stop on in.

I live in NYC and a friend of mine dragged me across the river to this small bar in Hoboken on Bloomfield Street. He had joined their beer club - which tracks all his beers electronically and they were hosting an IPA blind tasting. Yeah, they blinded 16 IPA's in an NCAA style tournament and crowned a winner (Laguintas Lil Sumpin Sumpin) at the end of the night. I have been back several times since. They have about 16 taps and over 120 bottles with stock that rotates like crazy. I slammed Flower Power that night only to return the next week to find they had Founder's Centennial IPA on tap! The next week, Me and my girlfriend sat by the windows in this chill place and sucked down a Stone Russian Imperial Stout. Truly a solid place for people serious about their beer! There's a six-page beer menu organized by style, brewery, on tap and suggestions. It's the only reason I can come up with to EVER go into Hoboken.

Very Good selection that they update a lot. Cork City is a fun spot to hang out and drink good beers in a relaxed atmosphere. They are currently running a fun VIP beer program that could get you a trip to the Great American Beer festival! The bartenders are very friendly and know the beers selection very well. They advertise that they have the most IPA's in Hoboken, NJ, which is not that surprising.

They also have three dart boards which makes it one of my favorite places in Hoboken.

Definitely worth stopping in if you are from out of town or checking out again if you had not been to the pub since it was under its previous name and ownership. They have really made changes for the better including updating all the taps and focusing on great american beer.

Located off the beaten path in Hoboken, New Jersey. Used to be a dive bar called Duffys, now it’s a small bar with a nice craft brew niche.
No bigger than your average living room but when there are so many large bars in Hoboken now this one serves locals/veterans of downtown compared to the fist pumping bars located closer to the PATH.
Has a fairly decent bottle selection and above average tap choices for the area. They had Dogfish Head 60, Hazed and Confused and Delerium Nocturum on-tap (They served the Delirium in a Pink Elephant snifter, impressive).
Service was fast despite having one bartender and the fact that the bar was fairly packed, compared to it's usual 15 people.
Prices are reasonable for the area as well. Recommended if you’re in a relaxing dart throwing, Pink elephant shifter mood.
