Poured on tap into a BOO!! cheater pint, at least all the way to the rim at Scion Silver Spring.
A real nice pale brass yellow body, with a little bit of carbonation and thin off white collar presented. Since she's put to the rim that's about all I can say.
A good solid cream ale nose. Sweet cream sensations, a bit of grain, and very light white powdered sugar toast sensations on the nose.
Palate is slightly slick, but luckily doesn't come off too buttery. Matching toasty sugar sweetness and hints of faint orange citrus juice qualities. Some of the citrus action continues with some warming bitter pith on the finish as well. Nice toasty match of sugars and grains, with a hint of bakery bread warmth also.
A good solid simple cream ale that will please, and keep it regular for the straightforward and good set. Decent brew for a cream ale.
Serving type: on-tap
