Poured into a snifter
A - pours a golden honey color with rocky white head that sticks around throughout the life of the pour. Leaves a good amount of lacing on the side.
S - solid presentation of citrus hop aroma, orange peel, zest, some floral aroma. Then a kick of musty dankness.
T - a punch of citrus hops up front. Orange, and lots of grapefruit. Pretty nice.
M - good. Just enough carb, well presented.
O - I've had this twice now, score and review edited to reflect the second outing. I like this beer much better second go round. There is still a little bit of a strange mustiness to the nose and taste, BUT, its more of an originality point than a demerit. It almost transforms the grapefruit up front into and sort of tropical note at the back. Not my favorite IPA, but very solid.

Poured into a Dogfish Spiegelau IPA glass.
At first pour the beer looks pretty amazing. Has a very hazy reddish copper color that looks amazing. Smell has some sweet fruit along with the citrus and pine resin - Mango and pineapple come to mind. Taste is absolutely delicious!! Lots of grapefruit, resin, pine, and some sweetness to match the bitterness. Great aftertaste as well. Top Notch!

Th beer comes in a very dark reddish amber with a beige fluffy head.
The aroma has some over ripe, almosr rotten tropical fruit and grapefruit. There’s some resinous pine and sweet bready malt. Lots of dankness and some green marijuana character.
The flavor follows of this cedar/oak woodiness along with riping green leaves, grass, and wood sap. There are big notes of resinous pine. There’s a medium plus bready malt in the middle with creamy carbonation. The finish is medium minus bitterness, but aggressively dries. The beer flies off the palate quite quickly leaving some leafy hops on the finish.
The beer drinks like a single IPA. It’s extremely different with its interesting hop notes (single hop Falconer’s Flight) and huge drying on the finish.
