Poured from a 22 oz. bottle. Pours a dark dull golden color that is very cloudy. Tight small bubble white head tops the beer in elegant fashion.
The smell is really great. Big citrusy and piney hops dominate with notes of weed and stone fruit. Marmalade, apricot, and slight sulphur note as well. Some malt is perceptible but the hops dominate.
Good sweet malt backbone with slight caramel notes hold up a big tangy bouquet of hops. Peach, pine, and grapefruit zest dominate and carry the flavor through to a satisfying medium bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is quite nice and full with a slickness. Medium low carbonation. Bitter finish with little perception of alcohol heat.
Overall, I think this is an awesome Imperial IPA that gives the big boys a run for their money.

12 oz can poured into a snifter.
Deep amber with 2 fingers of fluffy, off-white head. Excellent retention and clarity.
Grapefruit, dank, spicy, woodsy, caramel, and toffee.
Very unique hop profile. Distinct watermelon notes along with candied tangerine, mango, and grapefruit. Dank florals with a spicy, woodsy edge. Touches of spearmint. Caramelized candy sugars with dollops of honey. Smooth yet resinous finish that sticks around with additional notes of grapefruit zest.
Medium-plus bodied, oily, sticky, moderately bitter, and dry.
This has a similar Columbus character that THE CORRUPTION has but is unique unto itself. Spicy, dank, woodsy, and most importantly, easy drinking.

Poured into a Dogfish Spiegelau IPA glass.
At first pour the beer looks pretty amazing. Has a very hazy reddish copper color that looks amazing. Smell has some sweet fruit along with the citrus and pine resin - Mango and pineapple come to mind. Taste is absolutely delicious!! Lots of grapefruit, resin, pine, and some sweetness to match the bitterness. Great aftertaste as well. Top Notch!
