On draft at a few places including the tasting room at DC Brau, I really enjoyed this beer overall. A nice lager but I love a good lager.
Beer is yellow and mildly hazy with tight soft white head of small and large bubbles, some lacing, moderate carbonation and nice retention.
Aroma is a little grainy, mildly bitter, mildly vegetal but mostly yeasty.
Beer is sweet with a mildly bitter finish, wet on the palate and strong through, I enjoyed it, it sort of screams for some nice hops in the midpalate but it is a fine lager for sure. I'd have it again and had it on several occasions.

64 oz brewery filled growler into an oversized mug. This is the new Devils Backbone/DC Brau collaboration
Pours a clear gold, with several billowy fingers of frothy bright-white head. This retains with a thin ¼ finger of froth, which dots the sides of the glass with a sudsy smattering of lace. The aroma has a fresh leafy and spicy feel to it, with a ripe citrusy character (orange and lemon sticks out) and more malty tones of fresh baked bread and a stickier sweetness across the back that is amplified a bit by the alcohol. This is sweet, tangy, and citric overall in the nose, with those Noble hops adding an extra bit of spicy and floral airiness to this.
The taste is earthy hops, soft fruit and sweet grains, which combine to give this a ripe and sticky feel on the palate that is cut a bit by some more crisp and spicy citric flavor that tries to tighten the profile up a bit. The finish is initially a bit semi-sweet but then gives way to more of a steady earthy spiciness that lingers some. The mouthfeel is medium bodied overall but does have some extra heft to it, with a kiss of alcohol on the tail-end of each sip that warms the mouth and really brings that sweetness out.
Other sites have this listed as a Malt Liquor but this came off to me as being more in the vein of a beefy Helles Bock or even a Maibock, with the fruit, malt and alcohol all giving this a bold sweetness yet there was still enough crispness from the hops here to keep things moderately drinkable. I definitely warmed up to this after a mug-full or two and the overall drinkability of it did increase some.
