Old store that come through. The allow single beer and create 6 pack. Really solid selection. Best store within Worcester even though looks really dated and dusty. (163 characters)

Reminds me of Austin Liquors Gold Star location. Very large store with a big selection of beer, wine and spirits. Craft selection is great. Freshness seems to be decent all around but I have seen plenty of old seasonal brews and IPAs sitting on the shelves or in the cooler. When I have visited the service was just okay. Doesn't seem to be anyone that really is an expert with the craft beer specifically but they are willing to help you with any questions. Prices are pretty good generally but overall it won't replace the elite stores in the Central MA area. (561 characters)

This is a tough one. This store has come a long way over the years as far as craft beer goes. It always had one isle, with one side being imports (half of which were imported macros) and the other being well known craft beers. Over time though DFH and various other more "niche" micro's began to show up. Now you've got Founders and half a section of belgians including 750mL's.

While the selection is still obliterated by other Worcester stores such as Austin Liquors or KJ Baarons, the prices here definately beats others on a few things. They have a rotating 12 pack sale (last week was 12 packs of Sierra Nevada for $5.39) and what stopped me was bottles of 09 DFH World Wide Stout for a shocking $5.49 a bottle. Thats not a special price either!

The service is still questionable at best. If you try calling in its a gamble as there is a woman who works the register that generally is rather unapproachable. The same goes in person, just a very cold older woman. That being said, the manager is the polar opposite, and is more than willing to order beers that they may not have in stock or even carry.

Are there better spots out there? Sure. This spot though is definately worth checking out for the rare deal. (1,219 characters)
