Location on Silver Lake in Dover is scenic. Food and service were good. The beer selection on tap is 8 craft and 4 macro. The craft drafts are mostly local like Dogfish Head and Twin Lakes and includes a house beer from Twin Lakes called Taylor's Grog. Craft bottle selection consists of 20 year round bottle beers the likes of DFH, Stone, Rogue, Ommegang and others but fairly limited to a single selection per brewery. The McGlynn's web site that lists beer selections matched what I saw there. It is a nice place but I wouldn't go there to find new craft beer. (563 characters)

Decent little pub/restaurant overlooking a lake a little north of downtown Dover. Atmosphere is good - bar area has plenty of TVs and bartenders were attentive. A bonus is free popcorn at the bar area.

Now to the beer. Selection is decent for Dover but would be lackluster for most larger cities. Notable taps included Dogfish Head 60min IPA, 21st Amendent Live Free or Die IPA, 2 other local Delaware Pale Ales, and the standard Sam Adams Seasonal and Sierra Nevada.

Bottle selection was a little better and more varied. More offerings from DFH, Stone, Rogue, Bear Republic etc.

Food was pretty good but not amazing. Blackened Mahi Mahi was solid and the Bison Burger was good.

This place has potential...if only they could get a few more quality/variety beers on tap. (774 characters)
