Draft at Marie's, served in a branded weizen glass.

Clear golden orange, spotty lace all around the edges. Broken skim across the surface.

Butterscotch aroma, hello diacetyl. Bleh.

Taste is similar but has a biscuity malt presence and soft wheat graininess.

Feel is borderline, watery but slightly smooth from the wheat. Wondering if it's just dirty lines at the bar accounting for the butter notes, though can't be sure. Overall a one and done. Wanted to give these guys another chance but they're not doing anyone proud.

Yay tall-boy cans. Nice lazy hot summer Sunday, seemed like a good idea.

Pours a smaller bubbly fizzy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med to a bit quicker pace, mild bubbly lacing, mostly clear very golden pilsner colored.

Nose is decent, some hops, bit fruity and almost spicy like, little pine and earthy notes, mild creamy wheat base, overall pretty light on the nose though.

Taste brings nice creamy mild wheat, into hops, fruity hops, it hits at fruity bubblegum but doesn't quite get there, touch of rind and earthy hop notes, touch of a background resin and pine like. Mild bitterness, that increases a bit on the finish, which attempts to dry but gets a little creamy and sweet, bit of a grassy piney like hop note, bit fruity still too.

Mouth is lighter bod, hint creamy, decent carb.

Overall OK but nothing too special, not too big on the wheat, not too big on the hops, it is light and drinkable which I guess is good for a summer beer, but wish it had a bit more going for it.

12 ounce can into pint glass; no can dating, but was released recently. Pours hazy bright gold color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, tangerine, floral, grass, light pine, wheat, cracker, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with dank citrus/grassy hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, wheat, cracker, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, tangerine, floral, grass, pine, wheat, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of dank citrus/grassy hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish, Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hoppy pale wheat ale. Nice juicy citrus/grassy hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
