Picked this up at the biggest beer store in the UK, Beers of Europe Ltd. Hazy, copper-brown-red pour with two finger head and decent retention and lacing. Very big, unique, earthy, spicy nose with hints of cinnamon and clove. Unique herbal and complex spiciness dominates the taste. Cinnamon is the star with hints of clove, caramel, dark fruit, cola, and a touch of vanilla and black pepper. It really opens up as it warms. Reminded me alot of the typical spicy Christmas beers of Belgium. Finish is thick and chewy with a touch of bitterness to offset the malty sweetness. Too rich to have more than a couple, but still very enjoyable. A very unique beer that I would definitely try again.
