Enjoyed on tap at Burger Up in Nashville's 12 South Neighborhood. A perfect compliment to their Woodstock burger.

Served in a glass German beer stein or mug.

IBU: 59

A - Beautiful dark copper in color with very little head.

S - Pretty subdued for an IPA. Hops are faint on the nose, but do reveal a slight citrus note. Cascade?

T - Very well balanced. Not a West Coast hop bomb by any means, but not as subdued as to be described as an English Style IPA. I've had this hop/malt combination before in another IPA. The Munich malt really stands out and lends to a very balanced and drinkable ale.

M - As described by the brewer, the 12% wheat gives the beer a full mouthfeel with silky, smooth finish. I concur and conclude that this is an IPA that would pair very well with lots of different dishes. Not a palate wrecker.

O - A very solid effort by Jubilee that just falls short of wowing. I wish the hops stood out just a bit more on the nose and in the taste. Certainly something that I would reach for again if offered and something that I would recommend if one were in the Nashville area and looking for a better offering than the traditional locals.

Served in a glass.

A: Pours a beautiful copper color with a hint of gold and orange. Medium opacity.

S: Slight aroma of hops and fruit, though the aroma is pretty mild.

T: Full and hoppy, with aftertastes of orange and pine.

M: The flavors in this beer hang around with surprisingly little decay, resulting in a pleasant finish.

Overall, a very solid IPA. Would recommend.

Had on tap at the Mayday! brewery in Murfreesboro over the weekend.Pured into a standard pint glass a copper color with a nicely formed but quick to fade half finger white head.Aromas were on the lighter side with light leafy hops and somewhat sweet biscuit malt, not alot of complexity but not bad by any means.Flavors of leafy and herbal hops stand out most with sweet biscuit malt flavors as well.An ok beer for a good cause brewed I believe for Jubilee at Mayday!
