Fun Fact: I don't recall there being any mead.
Fun Fact #2: Beers in Boston are a lot more expensive than I'm used to.
Fun Fact #3: They had a giant selection that was posted on a descriptive, obsessively updated list. The beers were all pricey but that's really my only complaint. There were 2-3 beers for every mood along with a healthy selection of rare and one-off taps.
Fun Fact #4: The service was nice and the atmosphere was nice like an expensive loft apartment-high ceilings, big open widows, well-dressed professionals on their way to and from nice-paying jobs.

I stopped here with family to have beers and dinner. Until our table reservation was ready we sat at the bar. Impressive! Over 100 taps with very good brewery selections for American craft beers as well as good imports. The bartenders had good knowledge about every beer that we asked about, and with this many taps that is very appreciated. I Don't typically like the vibe in a place with high ceilings like they have here, but I discovered when walking upstairs that there is a different vibe in the mezzanine area that would be more cozy.
The beers that we had were all fresh tasting, so regardless of the number of taps and what could have the potential to be some slow movers among the group to cause some old beers, that does not seem to be the situation here.
Our food selections were very tasty, so kudos to the kitchen folks too. When we're back in town to visit family again we'll definitely stop to enjoy the outstanding selection of beers here.

The selection at Meadhall is impressive, and their draft list is well ordered and usually up to date. Over my many visits I've determined that the service is mixed (on a Tuesday evening you're fine--Thursday and Friday is a totally different story, assuming you can even find a place to stand). Some of the food is great, especially the buffalo shrimp. I've found that their specials are often pretty spot on.
The biggest complaints I have with this place is the noise--the high ceilings seem to amplify the chatter--and their laziness. Specially in regards to their website, which is nonexistent. They should have a draft list updated at least weekly, and it's ridiculous they don't put in the effort.
