Located in historic downtown Manteo, home of Andy Griffith. Decent on-street parking, but be prepared to walk a bit in the summer. Garage under the shops across the street is usually open, though.

Nice outside seating with dog-watering station for those out for a stroll. Inside is a bit cramped and can get a bit noisy. Small, really small, bar area with stools for only 5 or 6.

10 NC-VA beers on tap, plus Guinness. Craggie Antebellum and Endo IPA were my choices for the day. Highland and Foothills also represented as well as St. George from SW VA.

Food is really good. My wife and kids really like eating here. Everything they do is well prepared and well presented. Portions, while not enormous, are large for the presentation style.

In the process of putting in a small brewpub. Two beers coming on line this summer. Looking forward to that.

Stays crowded, put the servers do hustle. Weekend lunch can be really crazy.

Well worth a stop if in the OBX for vacation.

A great destination for the Outer Banks traveler. I did not go to the bar/tasting room, but the cafe was very inviting. High ceilings, lot of brick and big windows. I was there the day after Labor Day (closed Labor Day "by order of President Grover Cleveland"). It wasn't at all crowded at the end of the season and the service was very prompt and friendly.

The food was excellent. Good variety and reasonable prices (High teens to mid twenties for an entree) for decent, well prepared food. I had a scallop dish that was very tasty.

The beers were good also. They had nine of their own beers and a nice selection of mostly North Carolina beers. They had flights of four beers to sample. You could pick from 7 of their 9 beers. The two high octane beers (an Imperial Stout and a Scottish Wee Heavy were not available on the flight list. I had a pint each of the Irish Red, The English IPA and a 13 oz tulip glass with the Scottish Wee Heavy. The beers were very good. They specialize in British beers. The pint glasses could have been a little less chilled, but other than that, it was a great evening. This place is not open in the Winter time, but all their beers are available when they are open. A great dining and drinking experience.

Right in downtown Manteo. The cafe is in one door and the tasting room/bar to the other. We sat in the cafe area as my wife is not much on sitting at a bar. However I poked my head into the bar area-nice copper top bar, brewing system in the open directly behind the bar and 2 or 3 bistro tables off to the corner. Nice little place with a warm feeling to it.

I had the flight of their 4 beers. A blonde, brown, porter and stout. The brown was my favorite-nice caramel and malty flavor to it. Thought all were very solid efforts for the size of the place and the guy being a homebrewer who has upped his game.

Service in the cafe was fine and the 3 folks in the bar/brewery area could not have been any nicer or happy to see me walk in.

Selection was good and they did have 7 or 8 local NC breweries on tap as well. Highland, Weeping Radish, Duck Rabbit, etc.

I had shrimp and grits that were simply outstanding. My wife had some of the best tomato soup I have ever had. A slice of french bread or similar would have been nice with her soup. Regardless it was some excellent food. Menu was very eclectic and interesting-I could see going back even if they didn't brew their own beers!

A great resource to the Outer Banks. Beers could use some tweaking but they are solid offerings. Best thing going in Manteo since Weeping Radish closed up shop.

Found this restaurant while checking out the waterfront. The dinning room is not touristy at all. They have a small bar with 11 taps of North Carolina beers and 2 to 4 of their own brews. I tried the stout and the chocolate porter my friend had the brown ale and blonde ale. All were tasty but the brown ale stood out. Not enough chocolate in the stout.the owner said it was his first batch of that beer. We found the small tasting bar and brew house as we left. Very small and intimate. Understand they had the restaurant for years and just added the brewery this spring. I liked the family run feel mom pop kids all involved. We got lucky. We were told their beers run out alot but they are expanding.

Stopped by for lunch while on vacation. Place is actually called Full Moon Brewery now since they are brewing several of their own beers.

Atmosphere: I liked the atmosphere. They have a small tasting room along with dining indoors. Also, seating available outside.

Quality/Selection: they have several of their own beers along with 7 taps of mostly regional crafts...like Highland and Mother Earth. I tried one of the house beers, a cask ale that was described as a malt forward red ale. Appearance of the beer looked wonderful however it had a vinegar taste (past it prime?) and was unpalatable. I sent this back and was not charged for the beer. The waitress remarked this happens half the time? Ok...then let me try a sample of the house stout, which was described as a dry stout. Hmm...glad I got a sample. This tasted nothing like a dry stout. More along the lines of a very sweet porter with root beer thrown in. Ok....think I will go with something more familiar this time and opted for Mother Earth Wit beer which was pretty tasty.

Food: was very good and would go back just for the food alone.

Overall: I do understand they only started brewing since spring 2011 but they really need to work on these beers before selling them to the public.

The brewery just opened inside this restaurant. I tried the 4 beer tasting. They had a Red Ale, a Stout, a Blonde Ale, and a brown ale called Lost Colony. They also featured about 8-10 other local breweries and only one non-local, Guinness. The beers had a great flavor and did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend trying the sampler. The food selection was classic Carolina low country cuisine. I tried the shrimp & grits and they were flavorful and fulfilling. The also had an outdoor patio with umbrellas. Overall, the whole atmosphere was very welcoming and enjoyable.
