Pours murky amber with a pretty much non-existent head.
Nose shows wild honey, spicy hops, soft booze and piny notes. Lots of honey.
Similar flavours, bit sweet honey notes along with spicy and piny hops leading to an abrasive bitter finish.
Could use more carbonation.

A 330ml bottle with a bottled-on date of Aug 2013. Acquired a little while back from Trembling Madness in York. An American IPA - described on the label as 'a carnage collaboration between Buxton and To Øl'.
Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. An opaque brownish hue infused with sediment. Yields a miniscule head of frothy off-white foam that dissipates almost immediately. The appearance is unappetising and deeply inauspicious. Aroma of intensely resinous hops with notes of pine, weed, orange peel, citrus, caramel malt and earthy yeast. Bright and spicy - good stuff.
Tastes of potent aromatic hops with a yeasty character and a powerful bitter finish. Notes of pine resin, dank weed, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, earthy yeast, mild caramel malt, subtle grain and faint stewed hops. The yeast presence is excessive. Well-attenuated yet possesses an unobtrusive sweetness in the background. A strident, hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth but flat, with decent body but a total lack of carbonation. Somewhat astringent, followed by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, pine, citrus peel and earthy yeast.
A bit of a mixed bag, although I initially had high expectations. It looks rather gross, however the aroma of intense hop notes is pretty good. The flavour is slightly less satisfying, featuring a truckload of hops and an excess of yeast alongside. Weak body - the absence of any carbonation leaves it flat and textureless. This one has the heart of an IPA but the body of an amateur homebrew. Not a total failure but certainly disappointing. If you stumble across it - give it a miss.
