On tap at GABS festival in Melbourne, May 2014.
Pours a mahogany colour, quite light at the edges with nice beige head of thick foam. Nice head and lace as well.
Smells grainy, malty and sweet. Cereal notes with a touch of caramel. Fairly bland, and certainly lacking the hops the description promised.
Tastes grainy, and sweet, but heavily fermented out, so the residual sweetness remains but otherwise lacking in character. Grainy upfront with a touch of caramel, slight phenolic edge to the back. Tastes like hangover.
Decent feel; thankfully it goes down smoother than it tastes.
Not very exciting; pedestrian and simple mostly but also just feels like any interesting characters it might have had are dried up.

Brewed with American cascade hops and Australian galaxy hops for GABS and pours a dirty orange amber hue with a creamy two finger head and lacing everywhere quite the looker, the smell is pineapple, fruit salad and piney hops quite hoppy indeed, the feel is medium bodied with above moderate carbonation and the tastes are fruity hoppy with hints of fruit salad, pineapple,a touch of candy and finished with a soft citrus bitterness and overall quite a nice brew that's worth a taste cheers.
