11.2 oz bottle was poured into a snifter.
Appearance: A one finger mocha head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pitch black color with no vision of anything.
Smell: Light cherry sweetness, funk, chocolate, bready, mland a little ash.
Taste: Light cherry sweetness, tart, a little sour, chocolate, ash, bready, light bitterness, and a little chewy.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, light bodied, a little dry, light bitterness, a little funk, slightly tart, and medium carbonation.
Overall: A little more tart and funk notes would have been nice. Still a decent sour cherry stout.

Pours a muddy blackish red with floaties. Has a nice rocky head with an off white coffee colored head. Leaves some lacing. Had a chocolate nose. Has a burnt, not roasted malt flavor with some cherry coming through then the roast flavor comes through. If it is sour it is light. Wish it tasted as good as it smelled. Leaves a flat feel in the mouth. Not worth the 8 dollars.

Aroma has pleasant notes of chocolate and cherry with just a touch of tobacco. One the palate it unfortunately turns into a mess of acrid specialty malt, tobacco, and sour cherry. Gives the impression of a medium light mouthfeel. Hard to finish.
