Drinking a 14 and it's still a little hot, but damn good. Nice think feel and a wonderful smell. The coffee has mostly faded, but left some roasted bitterness behind.

2020 Release #4. 12.1% abv 38 IBUs. At 53 degrees, pours black with ruby see through; fast fizzy dark tan head; props for tons of flecks of shaved coconut; poor cap retention, no ring, no lace; no legs. Strong toasted coconut aroma as the 568 ml can is popped open; barest of drive-by sniffs of bourbon as liquid warms. Coconut!, dark chocolate entry; sweet milk chocolate fudge, vanilla and oak; bourbon on backend; did I mention coconut? Medium plus body, fluffy (oats) feel; no warmth from 12.1% abv; light carbonation. Overall, I love coconut stouts that smell and taste like coconut and this beer delivers; tastes like a Mounds candy bar without being overly sweet; there’s just enough bourbon to keep the beer from being a two trick pony; drinks thin for a 12% oatmeal stout, and I would have liked a little more bourbon; otherwise, a delicious BBA coconut stout - bravo!

19.2 ounce can into tulip glass, 2019 vintage. Pours dense pitch black color with a 1 finger fairly dense tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roasted coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, fudge, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, roasted nuts, brownie batter, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of raisin, fig, date, molasses, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, coffee, chocolate, and bourbon barrel notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roasted coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, fudge, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, roasted nuts, brownie batter, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of raisin, fig, date, molasses, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, roast, charred bitterness, and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roasted coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, fudge, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, roasted nuts, brownie batter, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of raisin, fig, date, molasses, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, coffee, chocolate, and bourbon barrel flavors; with an awesome roasted bitter/sweet balance; no cloying/acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Lightly increasing roasted/tannin dryness through the glass. Mild increasing warmth of 12.3% through the glass. Incredible barrel presence/integration, with tons of coconut and fruity/nutty coffee complexity. Overall this is a fantastic barrel aged coffee oatmeal stout. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, coffee, chocolate, and bourbon barrel flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV. This is certainly one to savor for a while.

Poured from a can into a snifter.
Look: Dark brown, almost black, with very little head.
Smell: Strong smell of bourbon and oats, with a smooth background of coffee and chocolate.
Taste: Very well balanced, tastes of oats, chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt, with just enough bitterness to balance out the sweetness. Heavy aftertaste of coffee with strong roasted flavor.
Feel: Heavy mouthfeel with light carbonation, but doesn't coat the mouth too much.
Overall: Very, very tasty, would drink again if I got my hands on it again.

This was a side by side tasting with Funky Buddha Last Buffalo in the Park. The Funky Buddha was a superior beer that may have skewed my rating a little lower than it could have been on its own. Still a very enjoyable beer.

Pours out with no head whatsoever. Almost no lacing as well.
Smell is coffee dominant. Mild sweetness from the chocolate. Some wood, but fleeting. If you're a coffee fiend you'll love this.
Taste is very similar. Coffee forward merging well with the oakiness of the bourbon. The chocolates adds some sweetness to take some of the edge of off the abundant bitter smoky flavors. Vanilla towards the end.
This is one of the smoothest non lactose stouts I've ever had. Very little carbonation but enough not to feel flat. I imagine this is because of the inclusion of oatmeal.
Despite the fact that this beer is called Snowed In and recommended to be consumed in winter in front of a fireplace, I'm drinking it in August. Very enjoyable coffee stout. Perhaps not as memorable as Founders Breakfast Stout but a good contender. Very well done. Cheers to Copper Kettle Brewery.

This one pours a very dark black color, with a small foamy head, and not much lacing.
This smells incredible- there's such a deep, gnarly, roasty and heavy coffee aroma on this one, with cookie dough, dark roasted malts, oak, silky bourbon, chocolate, and vanilla.
This was not on my radar, and clearly it should have been. It's a nearly perfect representation of a BA coffee stout. The barrel flavor is well integrated, and doesn't add overt booziness. It does add some warming and enveloping bourbon flavor, with some spicy toasted oak. The coffee flavor is unreal good here- very chocolatey, with a slight spice on the finish. There's some licorice too, and a hint of vanilla, with a nice roasty kick on the finish. This is exceptional.
This is medium bodied, rich and creamy, with a typical level of carbonation for the style.
I am honestly blown away by this one. It's everything I want in this style.
