Stopped by here on Sunday morning. Morry's had been going through major renovations the last couple of years. Opening a new restaurant in back with a wine tasting area. As a result, the beer selection had seriously suffered, the last time I had been in here there were just a few bottles covered in dust. I am very happy to announce that this is no more! Had two full walls of beers in a tunnel between the main store and the restaurant shaped like an oversize wine barrel. All of the Stone stuff (incl Oaked AB), some Moylan's and Marin, Kona Pipeline Porter ( the only place I've seen it in LB), lots of Belgians and Germans, and many others I can't remember. A little pricier than some of the other places in town but you can buy individual bottles too. I will definitely be returning now.

I stopped here after finding it on BeerFly. It's on a busy street but there is easy parking next to the building.

The selection was pretty good but many of the bottles have been here a while. Lots of dust on bottles. Also the price was prohibitive for almost every beer I picked up. For example Achel was priced at $9.99 per 11.2oz bottle, the most expensive price for Achel I've seen in >5 states. Other bottles were overpriced as well.

I'd skip this place and go to Beverage Warehouse near LAX or Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa.

Gourmet food/wine/beer store located in the eclectic neighborhood of Naples. Beer selection is widely varied, tending more towards imports than local micros. Belgian selection is fantastic, including three different St. Bernardus. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, more than willing to spend as much time as needed to help you find something that interests you. Definitely worth stopping in occasionally as they have some stuff I have never seen elsewhere. This probably wouldn't be my weekly beer store, but I would definitely stop in once in a while to chat with the staff and see what's new.

Morry's is a beer/wine/gourmet shop in the Naples area of Long Beach. They have a very nice selection of micros, both from the U.S. and from abroad. They also have regular beer tastings. The staff I spoke with were quite knowledgeable about beer & were proud that they could offer some 'unique' beers to the public (the day I was there, it was a Latvian lager, I passed on it).
Certainly, if you're in this area, this place is worth checking into, you might find some pleasant surprises, beer-wise

This place definitely has its charm. I've seen other places with a more impressive selection of beer. The selection here is well enough to give it a 4 as far as beer is concerned. I would give it a 5 overall because the wine selection is outstanding. But, this is a beer site. Hence, the 4.5 rating.

The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I remembered when I first started drinking wine they totally helped me out without leaving me feel like an ignoramus. They even laughed sincerely at my jokes.

If you're in Long Beach, Seal Beach, or within a short drive, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. It worked out convenient for me because I'd go there right after walking out of Limerick's a few doors down (a wonderfully cozy pub). I've even had conversations with fellow ex-Long Beach residents who have memories of this place. Recommended.

Established since 1938, Morry's of Naples is an old style (still family owned) traditional store that sells fine wines, spirits, gourmet foods and of course Beer amongst other things. A veritable Caves-a-Bieres. Has around 350 different beers at any one time from a majority of the recognised brewing nations. The beer selection has many favorites complimented by an ever changing range of newer ones. The staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful - I can't praise them enough for their genuine interest in your needs and intuitive guidance. They were very helpful to me (a newly arrived Limey) looking for good US Stouts and Porters. They hold regular Beer Tastings on Thursday Nights, every week with around 7-10 different beers each week, held in a small bar at the back of the Store. I have only attended one of these, but it is a great way to meet people and try your next purchase. If BA had a Store - I would imagine it would be like this !!!.
