A - One finger of white head with low retention and some lace. The body is pale gold with good clarity.

S - A nice pils malt aroma with notes of honey and a hint of herbal hops.

T - MIld, spicy hop flavors, balanced by sweet pils malt.

M - Medium-low carbonation, medium body, and a slightly sweet finish.

D - Not a great pils, but easily drinkable. The aroma is nice, but it isn't really reflected in the flavor.

February 2002: Very light thirst quencher for a hot summer's day. Not much taste. Nice label! Served multiple times by a friend of mine, as a reward for helping him out with some forestry work. Better than water.

First review from my new town of Oslo.
Advertised as a Summer beer. Pours a light golden tone, high carbonation, fluffy head. Nice body and carbonation.
Smells of biscuity malts, lemon, cracker, sweet malt, caramelized sugar, honey, pepper, hop bitterness comes through, adding a light pepper tone.
Smells exactly like a fresh Bitburger, so par for the German beer course.
Taste is also good, bitter hoppiness mixed with biscuit, honey, bread, malt, caramel, finishing with a light hop bitterness.
Medium body, good carbonation, overall a good Pils, keeping up with the classic Standards.
