Pours an amber colour, clear all the way through, with white foamy head. Nice lacing. Looks great.

Smell is oaky, with a touch of banana, vanilla, and decent coconut as well. Slight tang to it. Pretty nice.

Oak continues on the palate, coconut and vanilla but yeah it's all that American oak character up the wazoo. Bit of bitterness towards the back but it's more of an afterthought. Good to cleanse, and works well.

Body is slightly thin, but has a decent texture to it.

Yeah, a bit of odd, even weak, hopping at the back but it serves to cleanse that very sweet, coconutty oak. Very interesting twist on their regular amber ale, it works really nicely in this case.

Pours dark amber with a small head.
Nose shows woody oak, sweet caramel, and soft floral hops. Nice oak characters.
Flavours include vanilla oak alongside sweet caramel and woody notes lasting through to the finish.
Could use a bit more carbonation.

Got my growler filled up at Cellarbrations I don't know too much about this but I know it's rare and probably a one off and its Toms Amber aged on oak for six months and it pours a light bronze hue with a fluffy three finger head and sporadic lacing, the smell is very influenced by the oak with hints of vanilla, oak, maple and booze, the mouthfeel is just over light bodied and creamy due to the ageing with tastes of vanilla, maple, herbal hops,a touch of fruit salad and finished with a creamy vanilla neutral finish neither sweet nor bitter and very drinkable especially with its low ABV and overall I love this it has the characters of a nice aged beer without the high ABV and I know that's weird for me but this really works well and hope they do this again cheers.
