750 ml bottl, no bottled date. Acquired this bottle from the local bottle shop. "Imperial stout brewed with chocolate, cinnamon, pumpkinseeds, chile, & spices".
Poured to a clear balloon snifter.
A - Pours a dense thick black body, nearly opaque with hues of brownish-red showing near the surface. Finger of frothy khaki head that falls to a ring that lingers, leaving excellent spotty lacing throughout. Appears very adequately carbonated. Looks very nice.
S - What strikes me initially is a very tropical fruit in vain of mango, which when skimming the ingredients list i can only attribute to the mamey pit? but i have absolutely no idea. Beyond that, aromas of chocolate, vanilla, & cinnamon. Not pulling anything in the way of peppers / vegetal / fiery heat / alcohol heat. A very smooth, creamy, & inviting aroma. Very interesting.
T - Taste follows the nose; very interesting stuff. Smooth, milky, & creamy - lots of smooth milk chocolate, cream, vanilla; cinnamon spice / vegetal chile peppers emerge on the finish with some lingering residual heat , but smooth delicate milk chocolate coats everything.
M - Feel is hugely milky, sticky, sugary, & sweet. Huge lingering chocolate, cinnamon, & chile pepper heat. Goes down exceptionally smooth for 10.70% abv.
Overall, a very unique and interesting beer from 5 Rabbit Cerveceria. Lots going on, but these guys made it work. Very complex stuff.

Pouring from a 750 ml. bottle into a snifter. This beer exploded over the top as soon as it was opened. Literally as soon as I put the cap down and looked back it was on the counter. Anyway, after cleaning up. This beer poured out like coffee. Brown with highlights all the way through and looks like it's on the thinner side. It formed a half finger of creamy light tan colored crown that dissipated to only an outer ring. The smell is cinnamon mixing with chocolate and some pumpkin like "spices". The taste is chocolate with very slight chile and some berry presence. The mouthfeel is velvety smooth but on the thin side for a stout this size and rather uncarbonated (especially for a bottle that just exploded upon opening). It's just alright.

Draft at Kuma's Corner, Chicago. Pitch black appearance. Super sweet sugar bomb with tons of cocoa and cinnamon. It's a candy bar in a beer, but it's a bit too 'artificial' tasting.

1/19/17...pours very dark brown, almost black. Roasted coffee nose, hints of chilis. Chocolates too. Milk chocolatey taste with a slow chili burn in at the end. Pepper oils Cinnamon and vanilla come through in the blend. Occasionally a burst of bitter. Great

they said drink this with churros. i could see that entirely - this would be fantastic with cinnamon, sugar, and something a little fried.
dark with a tan head that quickly disappears. good look to it.
smell is a bit messy for me, but i don't think i'm at 100% tonight. cinnamon first, then some chocolate, and then dried peppers.
mouth totally takes over, though. rich chocolate with candy bar sweetness, cinnamon notes, and nothing's overwhelming here. nice balance.
mouth is smooth and creamy without being thick. booze is subtle.
good beer for a cool fall night.
