on tap at acorn over there in the source, it looks like these guys distribute to colorado now, or at least they are all over that building. itd be cool, because they make some really good beers, this one included, and while its real simple as far as style and flavor profile, its awfully well done. bright golden in color, crystal clear and with a nice head. this is definitely underrated here for sure. a nose of grassy bittering hops, maybe saaz, i like that a lot. its quite hoppy really for a golden ale, and in the absence of any real yeast character, the hops really shine in the finish. really bright beer, massive carbonation and a really clean finish despite the hoppiness. medium bodied and very dry. its a perfect example of the style, and deserving of its decoration. interesting that the five vulture is so far out and this one is so simple, both ends of the spectrum covered in my experience with these guys. i dug this a lot, great with my lamb sandwich. i hope they stick around.

Lots of notes of passionfruit and citrus. Slightly sour but very refreshing. As an IPA guy I can appreciate it for what it is. I'm having some of my sister's after coming in from the beach and it's really refreshing. I don't love it but she really does and she likes the wheat beers. She says I'm low-balling the rating. Meh, she'll have to rate it herself.
