Cheers to the other reviewers as I chose to use them when deciding where to visit on my recent trip to Duluth. As previously mentioned, they had a decent selection of bombers along with a solid selection of singles which were reasonably priced (usually ~$1.99ea). All bottles were fresh, so there was no need to worry about stale dated product. The cashiers have little to offer in terms of insight, but if you know what you want you won't have a problem finding it. They've got most Surly's, Sierra Nevada's, specialty Sam Adam's, Rogue and a pile of singles. Well worth the trip and conveniently located. I will be back!

Atmosphere: A big, shiny clean liquor store that sells mostly wine and liquor, but also beer.
Quality: Most of their beer is macro, but they have a consistent selection of Surly, to include Five and Darkness when available. Everything is fresh. There’s no old product hanging out on the shelves.
Service: Hit and miss. Some of the cashiers seem to be genuinely clueless about beer or even how to field a beer question. On the other hand, there are a few of the stocking people and some beer sample guys who have a quality understanding of the world of beer.
Selection: FOR DULUTH it is great. Surly, all the Bells, all the New Belgiums, and a slew of others. This is one of the great places to buy good beer in Duluth. The selection is small, and it doesn’t change much, but if you’re looking for some small-batch Surly, then this is the place to go. They also seem to almost always have Goose Islands Nightstalker, as well as some of the big Sam Adams beers. Over all, it’s not much, but for Duluth it’s AMAZING!
Overall, a great place for Duluth. Good beers, normal price, good location.

After shopping next door at Cub Foods I like to stop in at Cash-Wise to see if they have anything new. This is a predominantly BMC store, but their craft selection is growing. Decent import selection as well. I like that they sell single bottles and have some cooler space dedicated to bombers. There isn't always someone working that can answer beer questions, usually college student cashiers & stockers. Overall a very average/typical big box liquor store with an above average selection of craft/import brews.

cash wise is on miller trunk highway on the north side in a small mall that has a cub food store that is very nice to shop at but to the east in the same mall and from the same parking lot as cub foods, just walk to the store..only problem is that this is not a craft beer store its BMC 1st but they do have bells and sierrra nevada... in a pinch and with out time you can buy a sixer for the motel room.. not a destination just a place to get a sixer..its on miller trunk highway close to alot of motels use this one as a last resort
