There usually isn't much in the way of beer stores to hit up when I go to visit my parents in rural NH, but I came across this place on a BA place search and decided to hit it up just before Christmas, and I'm glad I did!

When you walk in there are a bunch of coolers immediately by the doors, full of six packs and larger format stuff. Being a homebrew store as well, there is also yeast and hops, but the coolers were largely full of beer. There are a bunch of shelves with beer as well, and the selection is great. From your run of the mill New England brews, to nationally distributed stuff, to harder to find special releases, it was all there. I was able to get my hands on some Founders stuff that wasn't available in Central New York yet, and I also got some Allagash and Goose Island rarities that I hadn't seen before.

The owner Zack was super friendly and came out on the floor and chatted me up immediately. He saw what I had already picked out, asked if I liked sours and if that was what I was looking for, and when I said yes immediately rushed around the store pointing out what he had available in the style. He also mentioned a few bottle-limited releases that he had behind the counter that weren't on display.

The beer selection was fantastic and the customer service was better than any I've ever had in a bottle shop. The pricing was fair and I will absolutely not hesitate to stop in the next time I head back to NH. It's a must-visit if you're in the area.

Talked the owner, he was awesome and set me up with some good beers. If I didn't live in California this would be my go to bottle shop.

Have bought many brews from Brewtopia. By far the best beer selection in the area.
They have helped me put together some excellent extract beer recipes.
Zach has even shared some of his own home brew, while putting together a recipe for me. He has even saved me a couple of times, when I made the mistake of ordering out of town recipes. Thanks Zach ! Much appreciated.

Really nice people who are helpful and aim to please. On more than one occasion a beer was opened to sample and see what I thought of it....very nice touch.

The only think seeming to limit their selection is whether stuff is distributed to New Hampshire or not.

I just visited BrewTopia in Keene NH and I have to say I was blown away. I’d been hearing about his place for a while now and finally took the opportunity for a visit to take advantage of the Oskar Blues tasting (free beer, what’s not to like?). The store is large, clean and well lit and the selection of beer is impressive. Not only is there a good selection on the floor and the shelves but they have a large walk-in cooler and three other free standing coolers loaded with beer.

The mix your own six-pack selection is reason enough to shop here but the real draw is the knowledgeable staff. You can ask these guys anything (to do with beer anyway) and they have the answers or at least an educated opinion. Try asking the supermarket guy which of the beers he sells has the most pronounced hops taste or what yeast strain was used to get a certain flavor and see how far you get.

Although I don't currently brew is sure looks like they have everything you might need. You can buy all the equipment as well as the grain, hops, and yeast. Best of all you can chat with people that know brewing and who can answer your questions or give you some advice.

If you haven’t been to BrewTopia it’s worth the trip. Nice store, nice people, great selection of beer – the whole package.

It's nice to see Keene has a quality-based beer and brewing supply store. The look and atmosphere is clean and well designed. The prices of the higher beers is pretty steep, considering i can travel to Vermont or Near-by Western Mass and get better prices even with the tax makes me wonder! Having a beer store of this quality seems great for my area but the selection of brews has gotten so much better in Supermarkets and smaller stores it's going to hard to ignore the higher prices. Selection is good, but not as extensive as most good liquor stores in Massachusetts or Vermont. This store is run by some young folks and I think it will be popular for years to come.

I love this place. Ever since they opened, they've been my number one beer destination in town. No longer do I have to drive to Springfield to find the beers I'm craving. Their selection is great and the owner tries very hard to get whatever he can. Having such a wide selection of White Birch beers so close to my house is great. All of the staff is very knowledgable and are willing to help if you need it and leave you alone if you don't.

Their homebrew section is still growing, but most basics can be found here and they can put together a kit for you no problem. While all of the staff are not homebrewers, they'll do their best to help you find or get what you need.
Their hours are great (open lat emost nights) and the location is great as well with ample parking across the street. The owner is highly motivated and will do his best to make sure you're happy. I highly recommend this place to anyone who lives in the area or even just passing through.

Southwestern New Hampshire has been waiting for a place like this. Until now residents around there would have to travel down to Springfield, Massachusetts or up to West Lebanon, N.H. to get a decent selection of local, regional and imported craft beers. Not anymore. This place was in its first few weeks of business when I got there but its potential is great. New Hampshire's beer licensing restrictions are tough so there are always limited choices available. However Brewtopia's enthusiastic and knowledgable owner is making every effort to get everything and anything that is available here. I expect it will become a destination store in the near future. Open 7 days a week until late at night and easily found across the street from the middle school.

I was very excited when they opened, especially since I intend to try homebrewing in the near future, and I work right around the corner.

The store is very clean, set up well. Very easy to just wander the aisles and browse the selections. I've been in 3 times since they have opened. Each time was greeted warmly and asked if I needed help. When I didn't they let me just roam. When I did need help, they were helpful in finding what I needed cold.

Last time I was in, they had some of the shelves up in the cooler, so I was able to make a six pack of singles. I'm not sure what is the norm in other craft beer stores, but this is a huge draw for me. Having lived in New England my whole life, I'm very anxious to try beers I've only heard about on Podcasts or read about in magazines, and being able to just get 6 different singles is a plus.

I did ask about homebrewing kits and they did say they could put a beginner kit together for me, so we will see.

So, if you are in the Keene, NH area it is definitely worth a stop in.

Hell yes! Keene finally has a quality beer store!

The store opened on May 2nd and hosted a tasting of White Birch beers, which haven't been available in the area up until now. Speaking of newly available, beers that you couldn't find in the region before, such as Oskar Blues, Green Flash, and Lagunitas are now available. BrewTopia is aiming to provide all that is of quality in NH at their store. Basically, if its available in NH, they're gonna have it.

I can't comment on the home brew supplies since I know nothing about those, but they do seem to have a good selection.

The staff is friendly and readily available to help you with any questions you may have. The store is well organized, with many of their beers also available chilled in the cooler. If you're in the area... or even if your not, its worth a stop by.

Big props to the guys at BrewTopia for putting together such a fine establishment. They will be getting my business for some time.
