Poured from the bottle into a Dogfish Head Ale glass. No obvious bottle dating that I can see.
A real nice color and body. A slightly opaque body with real nice orange amber hues, and visible very small rising carbonation. Head makes three fingers and holds for quite some time with a nice cap. Off white head and three fingers deep.
Nose is highly biscuity with a good soft complimenting but muted hop. Hints a soft tropical fruit like an overripe mango, but still a little buried. Quite a neat profile.
Palate comes off juicy but quite wet. Muted crispness and some nice hop fruit punch like sweetness in the mid palate. Quite playfully spritzy carbonated with a nice malt sweetness also. Aftertaste is very short and fleeting, but manages a little bit of pine and resin like quality.
Overall it's got an interesting palate, but feels extremely muted and wet. It's very easy drinking, but this I am guessing will not really appeal to hop head masses. I do enjoy this fruit punch quality though.
