Pours a dark amber, almost brown with an off-white head with lasting power and nice lacing. Nice caramel malt scent with slight fruitiness. Solid malty flavor of caramel, a bit smokey, and fruitiness akin to mild raisins. The blend could be smoother, as the flavors tend to butt up against one another. Overall it's decent and easily drinkable.

poured from 12oz bottle into standard pint glass. Bottled 2/1/14, so 3 months and change.

Pint looks slightly hazy amber color with a small creamy off white head. good carbonation and lacing.

Aroma is faintly of cut grass malt with an even fainter suggestion of hops

Taste shows a pretty decent balance, though leaning more toward the malt side. A pleasant biting bitterness around the tongue

Mouth is medium and a bit foamy.

Overall a decent enough beer, actually got more enjoyable toward the end. Nothing to really brag about, label's prettty cool though.
