Here's a newer Review:
STILL the only real "beer" store in town although a few grocery stores have ok selections nowadays. Hop N Grape also has a great wine selection. And now THE ONLY home brew and wine making supply/ingredient store in town. This place is the place to go to find new beers you haven't tried, and somehow he keeps the prices the same or lower than what you find at the grocery stores. And he is always getting new selections and gets most of the hard to find releases those of us on beeradvocate and untappd are looking for.
In addition Dave has rotating taps including new beers from our NW favorites, but as far as Colorado and New York. So the tasting room is the place to go, for taster trays, 10oz beers, 16 oz beers, and especially growler fill ups. And just about every Friday there is a brewery or winery there giving away free samples and/or having a tap takeover.
And on top of that the restaurant has taken off and is now always busy, even at lunch. It is mostly a small menu of some good smokehouse type dishes. You have to try the pepperjack mac and cheese and the steakhouse chili, and if you are up for it order the chili mac. You won't be sorry. This place is now a local favorite and I hear he is thinking of expanding. All the prices are reasonable, and you can find $3.99 22s and you can find $16 22s. In addition he has a lot of the imports you can't find outside of Seattle or Portland, and sometimes even ones you can't find there.
And last update, he has added even more staff including a dedicated homebrew supply guy and a few other beer salesmen so there is always someone available to help in every department instead of them trying to cover taps and tables, beer sales, ingredient sales, and the register.

Stopped in today to check it out. All the usual suspects, with a few nice harder to finds. I picked up a bottle of Parabola. Shhh... Don't tell. Dave was friendly and has a nice store. I didn't bother with the wine or homebrew stuff, since it isn't my thing. I will make an effort to stop in next time I am in town and I have more time.
Selection was what I normally find in Portland, plus some Lost Abbey stuff that isn't distributed to OR.
Prices are right on par with were they should be.
Service was great, and Dave was friendly. I was however the only person in the store.
I recommend at least to check it out. I have the feeling this could be a good shop once it hits it's groove.

Best place north of Vancouver and South of Centerllia to buy beer in Washington. I know that is not saying much but if you are in Cowlitz county this is the "BEER" store.
Dave the owner has a large selection of craft and import 12s, 22s, and 750s from local, US and international breweries in stock. The range from basics like Widmer and Deschutes to Scaldis and Duvel.
The is at least 8 doors of beer with some hard to find beers tucked into many of the doors like Stone Vertical Epic 07, 08, and 09.
Overall great value of beers and lots to choose from.
Also has a large selection of home brew supplies and over 500 bottles of wine, ciders and meads.
Place will also have 15 taps in the near future with growlers to go.
