People on this site would not know a good lager if it hit em in the face. As apparent from the some of the "hads" here. On tap at Salt & Time in Austin.

A: Pours a beautifully clear golden/yellow color. A two finger white head forms and recedes after a minute. Light lace.
S: Crackers and biscuit malts, baked bread up front in the nose. Followed by a nice grassy, green leaf hop bitterness. I assume Saaz hops. Simple, but really well done.
T: Again, simple but excellent. Dry cracker and biscuit malts up front. The dryness continues with the hops, that leaves a great grassy and perfectly bitter finish (without being over barring at all).
M/D: A light body that has perfect carbonation. So dry and refreshing. Incredibly crisp and clean. So easy to drink. All day with this.

A great, supper clean and easy to drink Helles. Spot on for the style, and something I wish I had easy access to in Houston. Really well done.

i liked this one better than the ratings on tap here. its almost an ipl, with a real appreciably citrus fruit hop character that marries well with the lager yeast in it. the beer is real blonde and real clear, glowing and showing a good inch of snow white head on top. hops are equal with the yeast in the nose, but in the taste they are dominant. minimally bitter, but citrusy and juicy in their nature, and well delivered by a real pale malt base that has a faint hint of sweetness. lager yeast cleans everything up but the hops, which linger for a moment on the finish. as basic yellow lagers go, this is overly hoppy by most standards, but as the ipl is concerned, i think its really well done. nice craftsmanship and something i could have several of happily.
