This is my 1st beer from Austin Beerworks after hearing good things about the brewery. It taste like a subpar lager, such as Lone Star or PBR. After drinking a few dogfish 60 minute IPAs, I grabbed a 6 pack of this stuff (for $10) and couldn't even taste it. I hope the brewerie's other beers have better character than this one, otherwise I won't be revisiting. No characteristics to point out- just terrible...

(I think this should be classified as an American Pale Ale, not an English Pale Mild Ale as it is listed on this site.)
Drank from a can at the The Common Table.
The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of grass and orange citrus hops with a little bit of bread and biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same, with some juicy orange citrus notes coming from the hops. The bitterness is fairly low and the beer is well balanced. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice beer overall.

A pretty good sized off white head settles into a decent lacing above a clear straw golden colored beer.
A subdued aroma of light grain malts and even lighter hops notes with a light yeastiness.
A light almost sour grain taste with some light bitterness from the hops sneaking in.
A light dryish aftertaste with some hops notes on this light bodied beer.
Pretty disappointed in this beer, it seems that they are trying to make a mass market lager with a craft beer price tag.

Thanks to JJFoodie for the can!
Pours an adjunct-like pale yellow, totally clear. A bright white near finger of head dissipating to nothing. Aroma is grainy and cracker like, with some nutty maltiness. A bit of grassy, earthy hops. Bit more grainy and bready in the taste with a bit of finishing grassy hops. Light bodied and slick. Good easy drinkability.
Not bad, nothing spectacular though.
