Picked this up at whip-in. 8.99 for a 6-pack. Re-reviewing straight out of the can. Serving temp: 35F.

Appearance: Light gold in color. Filtered looking, no cloudiness at all. Pours a finger of head that fades in less than a minute. The carbonation is vigorously rushing to the top. (this is from my first review when I poured it into a pilsner glass)

Smell: Overall the aroma if very faint. I pick up some yeast notes. As well as a bit of pine.

Taste: up front it is very dry-woody-burnt characteristic but lacking any real hop kick to follow. There are some floral notes buried in there somewhere. the alcohol is hidden away well.

Mouth-feel: it is very light/crisp clean. Body is light. carbonation is great down to the last drop.

Overall: Very easy to drink, took my time with the first can, but the second one i took down in about 5 gulps. Great to see new offering in Texas, and great to see more offerings out of the can. I will have to give their other varieties a try.

(I think this should be classified as an American Pale Ale, not an English Pale Mild Ale as it is listed on this site.)

Drank from a can at the The Common Table.

The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of grass and orange citrus hops with a little bit of bread and biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same, with some juicy orange citrus notes coming from the hops. The bitterness is fairly low and the beer is well balanced. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice beer overall.

A pretty good sized off white head settles into a decent lacing above a clear straw golden colored beer.

A subdued aroma of light grain malts and even lighter hops notes with a light yeastiness.

A light almost sour grain taste with some light bitterness from the hops sneaking in.

A light dryish aftertaste with some hops notes on this light bodied beer.

Pretty disappointed in this beer, it seems that they are trying to make a mass market lager with a craft beer price tag.
