Smokestack tulip
A ~ Pours...straw? Very pale resembling a lager. Lacing is pretty weak. Carb is like 7-up. This doesn't really look like an APA.

S ~ White bread & pale malts mostly. Grass & pepper...some light funkyness & vegetation. Faintest hint of lemon peel. Meh

T ~ Graham crackers & yeastbread fading into hints of citrus. Lots of toast on the back end. Touches of grassyness throughout.

M ~ Peppery turns to doughy turns to an off resinous twinge finishing with toasty malt that cloyyys. Not elegant in terms of balance for being such a Pale-pale ale. Light-medium bittering but this somehow wrecked my palette.

D ~ Overall underwhelming. Good? yes I finished it but not great or worth revisiting. This is what would be an "Extra Pale Ale" in terms of being Extra Pale, rather than Extraordinary.

(I think this should be classified as an American Pale Ale, not an English Pale Mild Ale as it is listed on this site.)

Drank from a can at the The Common Table.

The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is full of grass and orange citrus hops with a little bit of bread and biscuit malt. The flavor is more of the same, with some juicy orange citrus notes coming from the hops. The bitterness is fairly low and the beer is well balanced. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice beer overall.

A pretty good sized off white head settles into a decent lacing above a clear straw golden colored beer.

A subdued aroma of light grain malts and even lighter hops notes with a light yeastiness.

A light almost sour grain taste with some light bitterness from the hops sneaking in.

A light dryish aftertaste with some hops notes on this light bodied beer.

Pretty disappointed in this beer, it seems that they are trying to make a mass market lager with a craft beer price tag.
