Essentially just an ok IPA. Amber and clear with nice fluffy head and decent lacing, aroma is that old school Sierra Nevada-esque caramel malt and some zingy old school hops. Chinook? Cascade? Taste has a lemon zest flavor and assertive bitterness that tastes good on the palate but feels a little harsh, has a bit of metal-like astringency to it.
This would be considered a great IPA if this were 1996, but pretty one-note by today's standards and basically nothing to separate it from every other IPA on the shelf.

Drank straight from the can right after a long shift at work. Smell is like walking through a pine forest in the rain, with a side of cut grass. Taste is juicy and resinous at the same time and goes down really smooth. This beer is my favorite of the Heavy Machinery series, hands down.
