Cloudy, Yeasty, Rindy, Spicy
This American-Belgian Weizen hybrid brewed with coriander seed and grapefruit peel pours a cloudy peach with a tight, white lace out of the can. Soft yeast aroma, some spice, and grapefruit rind. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Flavor brings a slight apple tartness, grapefruit rinds, peppercorn, pithy astringency, soft coriander, and yeastiness with very little sweetness. There’s some breadiness with a dry, husky, and grainy finish. A most interesting hybrid.

Pours a crisp golden color with a finger width carbonated head. Head retention is decent, as is lacing. Strong farmhouse yeast and coriander aroma. There is some spiciness to it as well. It does seem more artificial, though. Bready farmhouse yeast taste with a spicy hoppy burst, ending in a strong coriander aftertaste. Very decent beer. More of a farmhouse/witiber hybrid. Not something I would seek out, but would bring a six pack to a party to share.
